MERRY CHRISTMAS
As one would expect Mahlia was totally spoilt rotten at Christmas. It’s too easy to buy for babies, isn’t it! We made the usual migration upnorth for the week around Christmas to stay with Dad (Mahlia’s Poppy) and my brother (Mahlia’s Uncle) Darren and our northern extended family and friends. Mahlia has been inundated with toys and clothes and Paulo and I with photo frames etc ad we have another memory card full of photos! Mahlia was introduc

Starlight and even went for a ride with Poppy on his. The car trip up and then back to Hobart was without any major dramas and apart from it taking twice as long with the whole wake – feed – change nappy – entertain system and Mahlia getting thoroughly bored being stuck in the car seat it was a success. Not sure we’re ready to go around Australia yet but we’re getting there! We’re safely back in Hobart now trying to convince Papi we need an actual dedicated toy box to control the situation.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year everyone we hope you have all seen in the New Year with good health and good spirits and hope for the year ahead. Mahlia, in her usual party girl self saw out the new year awake. We spent the night at a Colombian Friend (William)’s house and his Australian wife and were joined by other Colombians and married to Colombian friends. Mahlia has also conquered the Taste and the whole yacht culture. We’ve also had 3 weddings in the past month which we had to go shopping for post pregnancy clothes to wear as well as cards and gifts and actually attending them! Mahlia was ‘just lovely’ at all 3 and entertained by the whole thing. As long as there is action Mahlia is happy and occupied. Thank goodness now with Christmas, New Years, and all the weddings we’ve had we now have time to settle down and rest a bit and enjoy hanging out without presents and outfits to have to go shopping for!
