Poor little Harry hasn't had much exposure in the household, s
o I'll put a few photos here. Unfortunately our (photo) camera has carked it so the only photos we are able to take at the moment are from my old Sharp GX10i camera phone, one of the original camera phones, so thats why they're so small, being 1megapixel and all!!! So, you'll have to bear with us for a little while while we try and fill our money box that we have dedicated for funds towards a new camera. i'll try get a video of harry loaded one of these days as Paulo has him saying "quiere Cacao" & "Harry" rolling
his "r"'s. Aparently he only learns Spanish, not English. I spent 3 months
trying to get him to say things as easy as "Hello Harry" & "Hello Papi" but not an inch of indication that he was even listening, never lone willing to repeat. Paulo comes home in March (I got Harry at Xmas) and says "Quiere Cacao" a few times, then goes to bed. the next day there is a distinct indication of Harry copying the melody of sentence, within a week he was saying "Quiere Cacao" and hasn't stopped repeating it since. As a native Australian Cockatiel I declare this very "un-Australian."Harry is a Cinnamon White Faced Pearl Pied Cockatiel. Basically a deliberate throw on a faulty gene that does happen in the wild, but they usually dont survive very long as they dont blend in with the normal grey / yellow colour.
For you o/seas peoples - see this link for your "regular" cockatiel in the wild:
